Snatch/Overhead Squat

This is a 6-week program designed to give you the opportunity to improve your efficiency with the Oly movements.  The focus here will be on building motor pattern through deliberate repetition.  We start with the basics and determine a baseline for each athlete and which part of the lift needs the most work.  Progressions, accessory work, and scaled exercises will be provided based on the individual’s needs.  Everyone will move and progress at their own pace to become a better lifter and push for that new PR.  Additional work and advice will be given to athletes for the upcoming weeks workouts that require these movements.  Each 6-week program will focus solely on the Clean and Jerk OR the Snatch.  

What: Snatch/Overhead Squat

When: Thursdays from 6:30pm – 7:30pm

Dates: 1/11, 1/18, 1/25, 2/1, 2/8, 2/15

Cost: $90 per person.  Capped at 10 people.

Gymnastics

This is a 6-week program designed to give you the opportunity to improve the efficiency of your gymnastics or pursue the next level.  We start with the basics and determine a baseline for each athlete.  Progressions, accessory work, and scaled exercises will be provided based on the individual’s needs.  Everyone will move and progress at their own pace to develop their gymnastic abilities while supporting one another to be a Gymnastee!  Additional work and advice will be given to athletes for the upcoming weeks workouts that require these movements.

Below is a list of movements we will cover.  Each session will cover 2-3 of these movements. 

When: Saturdays from 8:30am – 9:30am

Dates: 1/13, 1/20, 1/27, 2/3, 2/10, 2/17

Cost: $90 per person.  Capped at 10 people.

Obstacle Course Race (OCR) Prep

Whether you’re a complete newcomer to the world of obstacle racing, or you’ve already got some obstacle course races under your belt, the Obstacle Course Prep Program at Glen Burnie Fitness and Nutrition can help you get ready for your next race. Our program is designed to help new obstacle course runners prepare for their first race, as well as train seasoned obstacle runners get better times and complete more obstacles. Our seasoned coaches will guide you through all aspects of obstacle course racing, not only getting you in shape for the races, but also instructing you on strategies and skills for completing races in most efficient way possible.  

What: Obstacle Course Race Prep
